The National Trial Lawyers is a professional organization founded in 2008. As of December 2025, it had nearly 9,000 active members nationwide.

Target Corporation, a premises liability case Vern tried in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado in November 2025. Our client was seriously injured in a fall at a Target store and needed multiple surgeries. Target denied responsibility, so Vern took the case to trial, and the federal jury returned a verdict of $2.698 million. Another example is the advocacy put in to turn a $400 pre-litigation offer into a $50,000 full policy limits settlement for one of our recent clients. These are very different cases, but Vern Ready puts in 100% effort in every case to get the best outcome possible.
