Colorado Springs Injury Lawyer

I have been in the legal field in Colorado Springs for nearly 20 years, having served one of my first internships in the 4th Judicial District as a CU Law student. Prior to going to law school and becoming a Colorado Springs personal injury lawyer, I frequently visited the city while in the Air Force, although I was stationed at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora for most of my Air Force service. Today, my wife, Jennifer, and I live in Larkspur, just north of the city, and we frequently enjoy visiting Colorado Springs for delicious dinners out along Tejon Street (if you haven’t been to the Rabbit Hole, you should go!). We often choose to go to Colorado Springs instead of Denver for a night out, choosing the beautiful drive and shorter trip. I am also proud to be a member of the El Paso County Bar Association and enjoy taking part in their events. My connection to the city is strong, and I never fail to appreciate the beauty of Pikes Peak and the drive south.

Our office is located in Centennial, on the south side of the Denver Metro area, but we frequently travel all over Colorado to visit with our clients and to conduct court appearances, including in Colorado Springs courts. If you are located in or around Colorado Springs, we are easily able to meet with you locally or visit with you at your home or office.

Unfortunately, as our second largest city, and one that is ever-growing, Colorado Springs is home to a high number of traffic collisions, especially since I-25 through the Springs seems to always be under construction. In 2025 alone, there were about 5,400 car crashes citywide, according to the City of Colorado Springs and CDOT. Of these, 226 were serious injury crashes and 38 were fatalities. Vulnerable roadway users like pedestrians, bicyclists/e-bike users, and motorcyclists were also involved in a large number of these collisions. Many of these crashes occur at intersections (about 40%), and we have covered some of the most dangerous intersections and roads in a past blog. According to the City of Colorado Springs Transportation Safety Action Plan, and streets like Powers Boulevard, West Cimarron Street, and Academy Boulevard continue to be the site of crashes leading to injuries and deaths.

Injuries in a big city like Colorado Springs aren’t limited to vehicle collisions. You may have suffered a trip or slip and fall or an injury on a property due to someone else’s negligence. We are very experienced in these non-vehicle-related injuries as well, with a proven track record in premises liability (including slip or trip and falls), wrongful death, and more.

If you have been injured in Colorado Springs or its surrounding communities and are seeking representation, choose a lawyer who knows your local courtrooms, and has worked in your city.
